• Tell the truth in the forms. Only report a dog you actually saw, and only report a lost dog that is yours or whose owner asked you to.
• Only submit photos you took or have permission to use. By sending a photo, you let us put it on the dog's page and flyer.
• Don't put anyone else's personal details in a form without their permission.
• Be kind. Anything abusive, false or unlawful will be removed.

• A person reads every report and application. We will do what we can, as soon as someone is free. We can't promise a response time, a rescue, or an outcome for any dog.
• The guides on this site are general advice from people who do this, not veterinary, legal or professional advice. A dog that is hurt, aggressive or in the road is a call to Memphis Animal Services at 901-636-1416, not a form.
• Approaching a stray is your decision and your risk. You are never obligated to catch a dog.
• Co-foster and co-adopt agreements are between the households and the rescue. Have a Tennessee attorney read any agreement before you sign it.

A dog's page and its address stay up so that any printed flyer keeps working. The owner of a lost dog can ask for the page to be changed or taken down at any time: email hello@goldenrulepets.com. Our privacy page says what we collect and what appears on a page.
